Dear Parishioners,

Today, we celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent which is traditionally called Gaudete Sunday. Gaudete in Latin means, “Rejoice.”  We are joyful because Christmas draws near.  St. Paul's letter to the Thessalonians says, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing." 

LITURGICAL MINISTERS... please sign up to serve during our Christmas liturgies.  Many thanks.  Plan ahead .... Our Masses for Christmas will be at 4:00 p.m. (usually quite crowded!), 6:00 p.m. (a quieter Mass) and Christmas Day at 10:30 a.m.
Did you know that our church hall can be used by parishioners for family gatherings such as baptismal parties, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, etc.   Please call the church office if you are interested.

Now that we are in the last month of the calendar year, please consider your parish, St. Margaret’s, as your end of the year donation that is tax deductible. Your parish counts on your support 52 weeks out of the year!

"The Light Is On" I will be available for the Sacrament of Penance on MONDAY, DEC. 17th from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m..   You may also call me at the church office to make an appointment for a private confession.  Come and prepare for Christmas by asking for God's mercy and forgiveness!
