Dear Parishioners,

This week we celebrate the feast of The Ascension of The Lord.  Our Vigil Mass for the Holy Day will be on WED. at 5:30 p.m.  St. Anthony’s Vigil Mass is on Wed at 5:30 p.m. and St. Mary's Masses on Thursday at 9 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.
 
HOPE APPEAL 2019 — This annual appeal helps to fund many diocesan programs and ministries, helping thousands of people in our seven county diocese.  Our parish goal this year is $26,032.  Please prayerfully consider a generous donation to this annual diocesan appeal.
 
NOMINATION FOR MINISTRY . . do you know a parishioner who would be a good lector?  Can you think of anyone who may want to join the choir?  Can you nominate someone who can help with our funeral luncheons?  This is your chance!  You can nominate yourself or someone else to serve in a ministry or on a committee in our parish.  Nomination forms are on the Baptismal font.  You can fill out the form and drop it in the box on the font.  I will personally follow up on each "nominee" to invite them to parish service.
 
As I announced last weekend, please do not park on Copeland Ave. (across the street from our church), during our weekend liturgies.  For safety reasons, we would like to keep the street clear of cars in case emergency vehicles have to get through.
 
This weekend, let us remember our service women and men in the military, and for all who have died serving our country.  We also remember our relatives and friends who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith.  May they rest in peace with the Lord.
