Dear Parishioners,

Our annual Harvest Dinner is coming up soon!  This is a major fundraiser for our parish.  More importantly, it is a delicious meal and a wonderful "community builder."  Our friends from Central City Grill in Cortland cook this fabulous meal, and our Faith Formation students serve the dinners and help with the cleanup.  Tickets are available after Mass and at our church office.  You can also buy a ticket for a take out dinner.  Please support your parish and come to the dinner!

Our 10th and 11th grade Faith Formation students who are preparing for Confirmation participated in a very creative retreat last Sunday.  The Director and students from SUNY Oswego Newman Center led the kids in prayer, activities, and instruction.  These young people had a very positive, enjoyable experience of church.  It was a great day for our parish.  The 11th graders will be confirmed at St. Anthony's on Tuesday, October 23rd.  Please pray for our Confirmation candidates.

Congratulations to Tim Davis and Alexis Abdo on the occasion of their wedding.  I presided at their wedding Mass at St. Mary of the Lake in Skaneateles.  May God bless them with happiness and peace.

Congratulations to Gina and Greg Miller on the occasion of the baptism of their second child, Bailey Miller.  May Bailey know the unconditional love of her family and the supportive prayers of our church.
