Dear Parishioners,
 
Well, summer is slipping away from us, and the fall season brings on a lot of activity at your parish. Here are some important events coming up at our parish:  Saturday, Sept. 21st the Women's Spirituality Group will resume meeting at 10 a.m. This group is open to all women of the parish.  The meeting consists of prayer, discussion and social time.
 
Also on Saturday Sept. 21st, our Men's Spirituality Group will resume meeting. For those of you who have never been to our group, we start off with coffee and socializing, after which we have a prayer time, then I usually show a video, and we have a lively discussion!  You are welcome to sit and listen or jump into the discussion!  We meet once a month.  The men who have participated in the past really enjoyed these gatherings.
 
Our first Pastoral Council meeting will be Monday, Sept. 16th at 6:30 p.m.  Any parishioner is welcome to attend. 
 
On Saturday, Sept. 21st, we will have our annual appreciation gathering- light hors d'oeuvres,  beverages, desserts for all of our parishioners who are involved in any of our ministries and committees.  This social is also to welcome any new parishioners who have registered within the past year.  Happy Labor Day!
