Music Ministry
Our music ministries are a rich and vital part of our worship together at St. Margaret’s.  We are blessed by the talents of so many of our parishioners who help us to lift our voices in joyful song.  Anyone is welcome to join.  Musical training is helpful, but not required.  Please contact Erika Linsdell at 607-227-2952 or [email protected].
 
Adult Choir
Our adult choir sings at either the Saturday 4:30 pm or the Sunday 10:30 am Mass, every other weekend beginning in September through the Feast of Corpus Christi, and for holidays and holy days of obligation.  Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm.  Anyone High school age and older is eligible to join.
 
Cantor
The cantor leads the congregation in song.  Cantors are scheduled at their own convenience and may serve as often or infrequently as fits their schedule.  They rehearse 1 hour prior to their scheduled Mass.  An Audition is requested and training is provided.
 
Seasonal Choir
Members join with the adult choir to sing for the Christmas and Holy Week/Easter Liturgies.  They rehearse with the Adult Choir from 7 – 8 pm beginning 6 weeks prior to Christmas and Easter.
 
Youth Choir
The youth choir consists of anyone 3^rd through 8^th grade and sings for the 6:00 pm Christmas Eve Mass.  They may be asked to join with the Adult choir occasionally throughout the year.  Rehearsals are determined by availability.
 
Instrumentalists
We welcome instrumentalists to add to our piano/organ accompaniment during regular Masses and on special occasions.
