A big "thank you" to all who made our Holy Week liturgies so beautiful- especially Erika Linsdell, our Music Minister, our choir and cantors who practiced for so many hours, all of our liturgical ministers, our two Confirmation candidates who carried the cross on Good Friday [Shawn Powers and Tasie Fox], all who helped to decorate our church, our staff, and thank you to all who donated to the Easter flower fund. Jesus is alive!
I want to call your attention to a wonderful speaker who will be giving a presentation here at St. Margaret's. Sister Kathleen Osbelt, O.S.F. will be speaking on the topic: "Would Jesus Come If We Had Not Sinned?" The presentation will be Saturday, May 12th, after the 4:00 p.m. Mass in our church hall. A light dinner will be served. Sister Kathleen is the founder of Francis House in Syracuse and is the Director of Mission Outreach for the Franciscan Sisters. She frequently speaks on grief and loss and various spiritual topics. Reservations will be required so we can plan on food. You can call our parish office to reserve your seat - 607-749-2542.
Congratulations to Brendan and McKenna L'Hommedieu on the occasion of their daughter's baptism. Evie Louise was baptized this weekend at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. May she always know the love of her family and the prayers of our community.
