Last week's Harvest Dinner was a big success! Over 200 dinners were served, including take-outs. I am so grateful to our fundraising committee and especially Elaine Kozub for all their hard work. Our thanks to Dave and Pam Basile and their friends who worked in the kitchen to provide a delicious meal for us. Many thanks to all our Faith Formation students who helped serve the meal and clean up the church hall. A great evening was had by all!
Anointing of the Sick - I will be offering the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick after Mass on SAT. NOV. 23rd. Those who wish to be anointed can sit in the front rows of the church after Mass. Who can receive the Anointing? Anyone who will be having an operation in the near future; anyone who has chronic pain; those who struggle with addictions; those who have compulsive behavior; people who grew up in abusive, dysfunctional families; and people who suffer from depression or other mental challenges. Those who are anointed with the holy oil can expect the following blessings from the Lord: strength to continue to be spiritually healthy; inner peace, knowing that you are right with God and with others; forgiveness of all your sins; healing - spiritual, emotional or physical. May God send his healing love to those who are ill.
DON'T FORGET TO VOTE ON TUESDAY !!
